Description

Why did you have to, with MY man? How dare you! You have no heart. If there is one inside that cold cavity you call your body, it must be black and made of coal. You saw an opportunity from my weakness and grabbed it mercilessly. You grabbed my man, my partner in life, a part of me. You dressed in you crotch high minis. Had time to put on those silk stockings. Applied layers of makeup to disguise your coldness. Then paraded around as

It is nicely written, and makes me think of the lady on EBay who gave away her husbands car, he'd cheated on her and the car was in her name. Really well done Susi

Great catharsis. As Lilliana mentions, what a progression in a short space. Good work. -- Dick

It's easy to make the mistress out to be the evil person but infidelity is just a symptom of an ailing relationship. It takes two to tango. We will seek to have our needs fulfilled elsewhere if they are not being met at home. I'm not saying this to point the finger at anyone or condone cheating by any means but it's just a fact that couples either grow together or they grow apart. I hope the book your reading has a happy ending!

Hmm, I am not sure if everyone agrees with you Leah. Some people, both women and guys, can be in a happy marriage and temptation can still lead them astray. Whether that temptation is in the form of a cool, calulating person or in the form of a different lifestyle. Even a strong desire to, say, go sailing can break up a happy marriage. Does that mean they didn't have a happy marriage before? Hmm, this leads to a new story. Lol at yesitis3, you can get kinky with just two! Thanks Dick, your comments have been so helpful on this forum. Steve and Gog, my humble thanks too. Hugs to you all.

You can have a happy marriage and still fall into temptation from a weak sense of willpower and self-restraint completely independant of the relationship, it is true, but a strong marriage will generally make for both the happy bonding of two souls AND the strengthening of discipline in the face of temptation. As for the writing, well done - you've completely captured the essence of all the emotions (except perhaps for sadness and desperation) that accompany being betrayed.

Heheh! Wonderful sense of humour! I thoroughly enjoyed that! And a keen sense of observation. Maybe that's what any woman who was left for someone else should read to build up confidence.

Oh yea, looks like you hit the nail right on the head there! Excellent, insightful and full of feeling. You don't have to go through something personally to feel something strongly about something - either something you've read, seen or heard about. I love the humor inherent in this, and the fully gammut of emotions that the 'letter' follows. Very nicely done!
