Description
Available now at Tonyo1701's primary site, http://xcalpro.com, may I present the X7 Survey Robot. Okay, okay, we all know it by another designation, but since Tonyo has requested members to provide a site maintenance "donation" before one can download it, he thought it best to call it something not to be confused with a certain licensed property. However, he is currently negotiating an arrangement with the owner of http://www.uncleodiescollectibles.com who does have a formal agreement with the trademark owners.
Even if it weren't rigged for Poser, this is probably the most accurate recreation of a certain mechanical man I've ever seen. But it is designed for Poser, which makes it even better!
Tonyo1701 is currently using a smaller version of this image to promote his model. Though rendered in basic ol' Poser 4.03, Tonyo claims he mistook this portrait for a photo depicting one of my life size animatronic displays. That's a flattering thing to say.

A contact for the Pharsicle's cook? :) Okay, I hope Poser has a "lightning bolt" effect so this fellow can keep his defense systems. (Now somebody needs to do a set/props for his insides - based on the episode where he was so enlarged the Robinsons climbed inside.)

The arms are a definate improvement over AofD's!

Oh, just a "heads up", everyone. He may change his mind, but yesterday Tonyo1701 announced that he plans to start creating original content instead of "entertainment inspired" replicas. Once he posts his first custom design, he will withdraw the "Survey Robot" and any Trek related items that require a "bandwidth download" fee. Such items have included his bridge set, the shuttlecraft and the transporter room. After that they will no longer be available. I gather other items, like the "Dork" fitted uniform shirts, trousers and boots will still be accessible. Of course, if you reading this post several months after I composed it, odds are, it's too late. Sincerely, Bill
