Description

I'm going through a bit of an artist's block right now after the Tropica piece. The dust storm piece was an attempt to un-block myself. Here's another attempt... In the wake of the blizzard that just hit NYC, I figured I'd try my hand at a snow scene in Terragen. But I didn't want a simple, static scene. I wanted something to be moving, so I figured I'd make an attempt at wind effects in Photoshop. Landscape and sky in Terragen, snowdrifts and postwork in Photoshop CS. Cloud shear done using smudge tool in PSCS. Feel free to comment. Enjoy!

I got that snowstorm too!I hate the snow and the cold...I guess I just don't like winter but I do like this render very much.You really captured the blowing snow.Very beautiful.

I got it here, lots of snow and we had a snow day!!!!!! No work today ... :) Although our drifts were a wee bit larger, this is a wonderful snow scape, quite different from the norm and very well done. Excellent sky work...
