I don't know why I did this. I wanted to use volume effects to illustrate that the light is coming from the left, but I couldn't get them to work right. Does this have something to do with the actual size of the light shaft making it through the classroom from the windows beyond, and then through the opening in the doors of the hall??
Comments always appreciated.

Love the floor

Sweet! Looks very real! What plugin is needed to generate the light? Thanks for sharing.

Very nice, the waves int he floor add a lot to the realism. The sense of depth is nice too.

Don't Forget that volume effects onl work with shadow mapped lights and not raytraced

Thanks for the comments everyone. I tried shadow mapped lights, but the volume effect only seemed to work at the end of the hall.

Great work. How did you get that wave in the floor? Is that post work?

Thank you, I added a bump map to the floor and I used "noise."

Very cool. I love the distortion of the reflection in the floor.
