Description

This is my first post to any artist community. I have really enjoyed viewing this gallery for some time. You all are tremendous artists. I've sought a 3D program that made sense to me for a long time and my heart settled on C4D. I'm still in the beginning stages in Cinema 4D and have only recently gotten to the point where I feel I have something worth sharing. This is a first attempt at using radiosity, HDRI, and depth of field. My expectations were exceeded with this one. Thanks for viewing!!

Indeed a beautiful result! I appreciate in particular the simulation of the thin membrane effect of the bubbles (that is the resulting iridescent images)

well done - fantastic for the first attempt ... did you use the remotion-bubble-plugin? Or did you get that bubble-effect by yourself? Then I give a big 'WOW!!' :-)

Thanks for looking! Nope, I did the bubble effect myself. I played with the transparency and refraction until I liked what I saw, then I found a good picture of oil on water and brightened it up in photoshop. I then put it on the environment channel.
