Description

I designed the compass first and had a hard time figuring out what type of environment to put it in. I decided on an exhibit. The result was better than my expectations. Special thanks to these sites and the wonderful work that they do

This image is wonderful! Only suggetion I have is to maybe tone the reflections a bit to give it an "older" look to it. Other than that it looks awesome! :)

the technical name for this is a theodolite..;) I modeled one a coupla years back, but nowhere near this good..;) keep up the good work.

Wow! I think this is as close to perfection one can ever hope to get. The background scene rendering, for example, is just the way it should be - blurred.
