Description

Since the Ice Queen post from Disneyland went over so well, I'll continue with some more from Disneyland since Airshow season is on hiatus at the moment until March at NAF El Centro. I wish this wasn't as grainy as it turned out, but I know I'm probably being way too overly critical of my photos as usual. The light was leaving rapidly, and without a flash on the Canon 5D I had to bump the ISO up. Still though, the portrait came out pretty awesome considering it was hand held with a 100-400mm lens with no flash and limited light. I am happy with how it turned out overall. Of course, just about everyone will know who she is... but if not, she is Snow White, one of the many characters at Disneyland. If you still don't know who she is (which I think would surprise most people!), she was the Disney Character who lived with the 7 dwarfs. Aka Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Shot with my new Canon EOS 5D (12mp) DSLR and a Canon 100-400mm USM IS F4.5L lens.

One of my favorite Disney characters!! I have the video of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Well, this is a fine shot, and maybe my eyes deceive me, but I see no graininess. It looks wonderful! Excellent capture. :o)

AAAWWW!!! SNOOOW WHIIIITE!!! What a colorful gal she is!!! What a beautiful photo!!!! REALLY REALLY REALLY BEAUTIFUL!!!! You should sell these to Disneyworld or something. Grain is part of the bargin when shooting without a flash with the 100-400 at a high ISO...but I find it within tolarable limits. This image is proof, it doesn't bother me a bit..nice saturated colors and sharpness with the 5D! Congrats on the new toy! Aloha!
