Description

"Boredom is the feeling that everything is a waste of time; serenity, that nothing is. " -Thomas Szasz

There is nothing quite like waking up before sunrise, traveling down to the beach, taking off your shoes and walking in the cool sand, hearing the murmur of the surf, and watching the first golden rays of dawn reach towards you in a warm caress. ----- Thanks for your owlish comments on my last upload, Contemplative.

Subtle depth. (Serenity and boredom are equally mindless, as is Szasz. Bored or serene, why bother to take the picture or laugh at the contemplation of three hands clapping?)

Yep, you are so right! The everyday's show that can be watched freely is something soothing for the soul, the quiet - never rushing - sun rising in its own pace above the horizon, starting with copper and gold tones gradually turning into silver tones... sigh Love it! And some pretty classical music of which I do not recall name or composer. To be honest, I never experienced a sunrise on the beach! But I can imagine it has a profound impact on those who take time to pay attention to this daily celestial phenomenon. Excellent work, Kort! :)

Hmmmm.....sigh...well youre right about that. It sure beats waking up before sunrise (that occurs around 9am) then put on 3 layers of clothes only to head on out into the knee-deep snow to fetch some firewood so that you can make it bearable for yourself inside. So im sure its just lovely to walk in the sand instead barefeet....BUT THAT`S NO REASON TO RUB IT IN!!!! #:oP Absolutely stunning shot by the way bro. Love it!!!! Have a wonderful evening!!!!!! #:O)

Man oh man this is spectacular. It gives me serenity just to look at it! I can honestly say, the only time I experience boredom is at work. It's not that I don't have anything to do, just bored with it all! Fantastic work.
