Description

"Something cannot emerge from nothing." -Frank Herbert

Taken mere minutes before yesterday's photo, the sun emerges from the slight curve of the ocean's horizon. It is amazing how different things appear. Colors are muted and cool, like the light of a sunless winter day. They give no indication of the fiery brilliance that will soon come. Nevertheless, dawn has arrived, starting with a slow simmer that will soon become a full blown chromatic boil. ------ Thanks for your dawning comments on my last upload, Florida Skies III - Serenity.

I didn't think you could surpass yesterday's sunset, but there: you've proved me wrong again, Kort. I am a sucker for sunrises anyway; you have indeed done a masterful job here. BIG VOTE

Herbert get that little tidbit from Aristotle or Al Ghazali? Oh the image? Are cryptotypes a function of training, memory, and experience? Echo of sunrise over snowbound, frozen over Great Lake....
