Description

In this event two cowboys/cowgirls try to gang up on the calf and take it to the ground together. One rider lasso's the calf from his horse, while the other cowboy waits for the calf to be roped. As soon as the calf is roped both men try to mugg the calf and wrestle it to the ground in a combined effort. Once on the ground one cowboy holds the head down, while the other ties 3...yes Andreas...3 of it's legs together. A small rope is carried in the riders mouth is used to tie the calves legs together. Once tied, the rider throws his hands in the air signifying the legs are tied. The calf then has 6 seconds to get to it's feet or escape it binds. The fastest time wins! This event can be quite comical as the calf doesn't always co-operate and many times gets away from them both! Sorry about the framing of the first two shots as I didn't expect the action to get this close this fast. Thanks for having a peek, and your kind comments on my previous rodeo shots...tomorrow some barrel racing....then my all time favorite wild bronco riding. Aloha to All!

Hmmm....two grown men beating up a poor cow-baby...sigh...what has the world come to? Whats next? The crowd gathering around the boor calf while they roost him over an open fire? I think they should even out the odds a bit and let one pimple-faced teenage boy have a go at two grown bulls, and lets see how well that goes. LOL. #:oP Stunning reportage my friend. Ill be sure to document this summers cow-tipping-try-outs for ya. Have a wonderful evening and a huge ALOHA!!!! MAS4EVA!!!! #:O)

He he, when calves get more skilled they can get easier away maybe but well, usually calves are not experienced, it's hard to practise in a cow's womb LOL! Gorgeous collage, Dave, you show it so well to us! Excellent work! :)
