Been an artist of various types pretty much all my life: pencils - paint - watercolors, mosaics of beach glass, writing 'stories', musician (first love), photography, software design. Started messing with Bryce & Photoshop a few of years ago and have gotten more involved with various 3D apps recently (Lightwave, Cinema 4d, Vue, etc). But my pictures, both rendered and captured, pretty much tell who I am. My bunny, Brenda aka JustAlice here, and I live in a little house out in the countryside of Indiana.

Poor old tree! Not like it was going anywhere, but you can see the bulging, as it grew with this constraint! We have a couple extreme examples here as well. Seems man seldom interacts peacefully with nature....it's usually our way, or the chipper! Great shot!

Although many strugles of life change and rearange what was to be, we can still get past it and as the tree did, survive. I mean........ through its strugle came this very interesting picture. well done dear.

Boy does that hit home for me today!! My son was sent to prison yesterday to serve 3yrs for a parole violation. He's only 19. He first got into trouble when he was 17. The judge gave him a break and gave him 5yrs parole and a 'bootcamp' sentence of only 3 months. When he got out of the bootcamp, he messed up again. I guess all things are effected when they get bound up. Great image dear!!!!

Symbolic indeed. Sorry to hear about froznlife42's son. I don't know what he did, but I'm sure its not as bad as what Ken Lay got rich doing. Even the government seems to be above the law these days. It seems we are all 'bound' to endure injustice at the hands of foolish and greedy men. Like the tree, we adapt, but at what cost!

Ouch that's gotta hurt, but at least that tree won't end up as a toothpick...I hope ? but the wire does make the tree more interesting in a cruel way...kool capture ~Cheers~ :o)

Who is really bound by the wire? The tree, or us?
