Description
OK, only three of these clusters are actually in Auriga.
The clouds parted my friends, and I took my trusty ST80 and my webcam out and took some pictures in the frigid cold.
Each picture is a stack of 30x30second exposures, postwork in AIP4WIN and PSP9.
The M designation is from a Frenchman, Charles Messier. He was looking for comets, found quite a few under the cooker and behind the refrigerator. He found other faint fuzzy things and compiled a list to warn astronomers that 'these are not comets'. Us amateurs like looking at his 'do not look here for comets' list.

WHAT!? No comments yet!? Too bad, since this really is a fantastic collection of captures with neat documentation! Stunning work, you've dedicated quite some time to compose this! Love to see all those details! Charles did a great job that made a perfect start for the NGC! Impressive work! LMAO @ that 'do not look here for comets'-list!!! :)
