Description

A mountain scene done entirely in Terragen 2 alpha version. The POV for this scene is borrowed form the aerial render of Mt. Rainier by Manel Giuli. I consider him the one of the best DEM artist out there. Only postwork here is sharpening and levels. Thanks for viewing and comments.

WOW!!, This is fantastic; The only thing that stands out is that IMHO there isn't enough contrast in the background, Mt. rainier looks seperated from the background; beautiful render none the less.

Is the background a photo or part of the render? I really can't tell.

I think this really shows off what TGD can do, so BRAVO! Incredible depth here. I know you can't post rendertimes, but what kind of Quadrilateral count does this have? I think maybe there's a little too much contrast in the foreground, still looks a little like a render, but the background is purely photorealistic! Congratulations!

A new excellent example of improvements offered by TGD compared to Terragen 0.9. Background is photo-realist. V

@ Micter: You are right, it's Mt. St. Helens (right, background). Mt. Adams can be seen on the back left side.
