Description


Terragen 2 Alpha render. Plant model and textures from Xfrog. A seperate 'depth map' was rendered out from TG2 Alpha, which was used for the DOF effect.

By far the most impressive render yet (that I've seen anyway) of the TG2. Even afer looking at it for some time, I cannot tell it from a photo. That DOF is stunning. I won't give this a vote because the prog is not in the public domain. But I think it is damn good.

With every image I see, I believe, TG2 can be a real competitor for Vue5i. Very good image - used the possibilitys, TG2 provides excellent. Close to photo realism.

Not sure about the DOF (specially in foreground) but I think that it is yet the best example of DOF done with Terragen 2. POV and light are perfect. Looks like a beautiful photo :-)

If this is Terragen ALPHA 2(And April 1st is a little too close for comfort)This is absolutely Incredible; Do you guys know if they are still working on Terragen 2 importing things like structures(Walls,Houses,ect.)into the scene, Maybe even animal figures????
