Description

In a time so focused around violence and other vices, it is good to stop and bid farewell to one who only carried one bullet in his pocket and, as best I can recall, only fired it once by accident, but not at anyone. The laughter and heartwarming characters Don Knotts played throughout the years made our world a brighter and better place. More personally, he made my world brighter. For that, I take pause to offer thanks to God for the gifts of joy He gave us through Don Knotts and offer my sincere condolences to his loved ones and friends. May the bullet he carried in peace, be forever preserved and remembered in our hearts and may we in turn always find joy and laughter in the journey. Thank you for sharing this moment with me.

Lovely Tribute. I'm going to miss Barney as well. A very funny man indeed. I also loved him when he played the lead in "The Incredible Mr. Limpett".

I visited much earlier this dayrtime! I did not know this person, nor what to say, hey? I know you knew the joy of him!! Superb dedication from your heart.George. Eternal light, grant to him, please..... 'Tis so very bonny in words and image.. I am glad he made your world "brighter". Brightness matters so dear, George, to us all!. It shines like a bright star. We see it, we feel better. Sincere condolences to his family and dear friends. I took "pause" tonight too..Diane.
