took this at the Las Vegas airport from a jet window as we was waiting to depart. not real beautiful but I like the idea. like riding off into the sunset on a horse. I hope all will have a beautiful week and I appreciate your visit and comments

Great shot! I am always amazed when people shoot out the window of an airplane, and the result looks like they were NOT in an airplane! I'm sure mine would either have a terrible glare, or refection in it. I was seriously confused as to where this was taken! Wonderful sunset!!

Richard, the sky is beautiful! I love the light at the edge of darkness! So very bright! It makes me think about how many times in life, we seem surrounded by darkness, but the light is there, and it will return! I love this!

My first flight in a jet plane was to McCarren airport. Dipping down quickly to land among the mountains just as the sun was setting was moving. Too bad you had to leave.
