Description

So protection! These are Batting Pads. They protect your legs, from ankle to just above your knee, from the ball. These also work to the bowler's advantage as if the batsman places his leg(s) infront of the wickets in an attempt to stop the ball from hitting the wickets then he/she will be called out, LBW (leg before wicket) at the umpires discression. The rule has limitations height, pitch, swing must all be taken into concideration - is the ball going over the wickets (height), was the ball pitched in line with the wickets (stumps) and was the ball on the right horizontal axis to hit the wickets (swing). The problem we have in ladies cricket is that the union hasn't assigned official umpires to our league so each team provides an umpire on match day and guaranteed the opp's umpire is bias giving every LBW called for, not calling wides and no balls even not calling 4's that have been hit (not like fore's in golf). -~-~-~-~-~-~-~- Focal Length - 6mm F/Number - F/5.0 Exposure Time - 1/500 ISO - 100 Metering Mode - Spot Light Source - Auto Exposure Program - Normal Exposure Compensation - 0 Step Equipment - Panasonic DMC-FZ5 -~-~-~-~-~-~- Edit - levels and lowered the green saturation. Lowered the saturation by very little so you can see just how green the grass is...

Well used I see. Saved you a good few bumps I presume? Nice contrast between the green and white PW!

Ha ha, first I thought these were baby buggies LOL! Your series have shown quite some attributes but the most important is still missing... the people! :) Original work, Vera!
