Description

So these are wickets aka stumbs. Three of these wooden poles are stuck into the ground in a row directly behind the batsman in the middle of the pitch on either end. These are what the bowler is aiming for we he/she bowls. The wickets also come into play when run outs, stumpings and LBW's accur. It is customary for the winning team to take the stumps home with them for display in their homes. This is only done on an International level. Tx for continuing to view this series, I liked this shot because of the old electricity box and the green, grey and white contrasts. -~-~-~-~-~-~- Focal Length - 6mm F/Number - F/4.0 Exposure Time - 1/400 ISO - 100 Metering Mode - Spot Light Source - Auto Exposure Program - Normal Exposure Compensation - 0 Step -~-~-~-~-~-~- Edit: Levels, lowered the saturation.

I agree PW, the contrast of the colours is super. So typical are the variety of weeds in the photo too. SA nature in green. Lol

For some reason i would have thought they would be thicker ya know. I wouldnt be able to hit a basketball with bats that thin, lol. Oooh...you uploaded something else...lets see what that is shall we.....
