A new macro? Congratulations! Excellent capture, considering the subject was being held in one hand (I know how hard those can be to capture without a super-fast shutter speed). Excellent work!

The macro is wonderful. I'll tell you how to get the image down to 15kb, it's actually quite easy. First, set up a photoshop document at 150 pixels by 200 pixels at 72 dpi. Once this is done, label it template for thumbnail. Then take your photo and place it in the template document and save for web at a jpg, medium quality and then change the name slightly to show that it's a template. And that's how you do it!! Good job!!

I bet it was hard to hand hold. I really hate to use a tripod for macro work. What kind of new macro lens is this done with ? Looks like a 1:1 ration. Excellent shot of a beautiful turquoise jewel. Is the setting copper or silver or bronze or what. lol. Lovely image.
