I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

Ah ... another example of cats' telekinetic powers to open refrigerator doors. Excellent work ... I really like the pov and the lighting is so very expertly presented. V

Well done ! Hey, you forgot to put a kitty in the fridge,.......which is where we found one, while her accomplice was acting as lookout !

I love the fridge. I think that was a wonderful piece of modelling :) A lovely picture

I kind of get the feeling that one little kitty is saying "I told you there's no milk! But do you believe me? Nooooooo!" Great textures and patterns. All the detail! A genuine treat for the eyes!

I really like this kitchen especially the fridge! Superb composition Nancy! V :)

Very cute image. I hope they find somehing to their liking in that fridge. A dream come true for any critter. My cat once disappeared for a half a day and was later found shivering on the bottom shelf of out fridge. Goofy critter! No one saw her go in. V

When I first saw this, I thought "She doesn't usually post photos". Love the kitties, and the rest looks so real, except our fridge is all full of leftovers and mystery meat, etc. lol! Great job!

Hey Eric, I tried the link and it works for me. After it comes up, click on FLASH and it will start the quilt (or HTML if you don't have Flash). Wait for it to load (1.7MB)...sorry, it's pretty big but worth it if you can do it. Then click on the words "start here". Once you do, hold down your left mouse button and push your mouse forward or backward to move in and out of the quilt.

Great lighting. Those cats are soo in trouble.

I LOVE THIS! Your lighting makes this image fun...not to mention the amount of detail you put into this. I loved how you posed the cats. Those little notes on the frig...how did you do that? little terrains?
Snow_Angel
Your artwork is so exceptional! Would of loved to see this project completed that you were working on! But this is a very excellent composition! Love the lighting and room arrangement! Bravo! Wish you could post more often :)

Fantastic lighting. I like very much how this dark kitchen at night is lighted by the light coming from the open fridge. I like that couple of cats there, looking at the open fridge and approaching it carefully. They must be thinking that they got a 24 hrs. open supermarket. 8-) Great composition. There's lot of details but the ones I like more are those stickies on the fridge upper door.
cloughie
Gawd!!!! It looks real! The cat positioning and posing and shadowings are most natural. Fab work!
