Holy crap, that's cool! The only thing is that the floor seems to be a little too reflective for the kind of plate metal the texture seems to indicate it's made of. No worries though, it's a fantastic scene!

Your modelling & texturing skills are supreme ! but I don't get why those side lights have a strong volumetric FX when they seem to be the same intesity as all the other lights ? maybe they could have been cranked up higher than the other lights ? just a suggestion...way kool stuff Stefan !!! ~Cheers~ :o)

That's great! I'm wondering about one thing, I seem to recall reading somewhere that this came out of an animation right? Now on animations rendertimes have always been a limiting factor to me. Yet your scene uses high quality textures, reflections, and it seems there's even quite a number of lights in there also. How do you manage to keep your rendertimes in check while maintaining this level of render quality? Any tips and tricks?

Nice update Stef! Love the reflective floor, I think it's a nice contrast against the more dull walls. This ship must have a very efficient custodian who likes to buff floors! ;-) The slight glow around the lights is a cool touch too.
