Hardly a feeble attempt. The lighting on this is excellent to say nothing of the wonderful model you've used here.

An excellent first render of an excellent model. Warm light and nice water. Well done!

Excellent choice for the model! But You also assembled a very beautiful scene! The ripples in front of her bow are great!

Thank you, you're all too kind. Harryhex: I know my landbased UK history, but I'm afraid you'd have to ask Kaol, the maker of the boat, to get an answer to your question.

Welcome to Vue VH (I've been a member over at VH & the Clan for ages!!) Superb first render with good composition & lighting. I look forward to seeing much more of your work here!

Thanks Wex. How could I forget you! VH has changed somewhat since the old days though and ARC (www.arc.ac) takes up all our time now. Glad you like my first attempt.

Great stuff. It's always a dilemma as to the best perspective to use when using ships, but this is perfect. Water also good.

My gosh this is sooo good. THe lighting is so very well chosen. All to often ship images have blaring white light which makes the vessel look so unnatural, yours looks very real. Bravo. Excellent work. Oh, the water is fantastic too!
