Description

While I keep walking eastwards I enter Oberried, a village bordering this lake with a fantastic vista. Another tree filled with mistletoe draws my attention. Although it's a parasite I've never seen trees really suffering of it by the minor theft of nutrients. This tree has a nice age yet and the mistletoes closest to the stem of the tree are pretty old (and big) too. The sun is shining abundantly but cirrus clouds announce the change of weather. To prevent the wide angle effect warping the vertical lines around the center I have postworked this capture by applying the perspective transformation in Photoshop. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm and postworked) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

That must be a village so pleasant to live ! and with a so beautiful view ! I love this style of house typical of the mountains. There is a charme in this place... I love it ! Incredible the reflection of the blue sky in the lake. Magali makes me laught with the duck "jet skying"... lol, that's exactly what I thaught too before reading her comment ! A wider angle this time but the tree still looks perfect. Love the view, it seems more like a scene created for a movie than a real place! Fantastic :)

It looks like a really pleasant spot, albeit a little chilly. I think when one is stuck in a city, one sometimes forgets places like this still do exist. It's a relief that they do.
