I HAD to show you this too.....
The goshawk on visit in one of my chicken garden-(I do chicken breeding)
You can be sure I wast fast to run back in my hopuse and find my camera....BEFORE he got one of my hens....WOW I was very distended:))))))
I did get some picture of it ,before he disappeared... and was a free bird again.
He left my chicken okey....They just was afraid...on got palpitations *lol*

Oh my ... can imagine You, running very fast, to take these outstanding snapshots! That reminds me of similar situation, that happened to me some years ago, when I found an Eurasian golden oriole (Oriolus oriolus) tangled in protective net of our cherry trees. He wasn't hurt and I got him free soon, never saw this nice yellow coloured bird so close before. Unfortunately, I had no camera nearby. I love hawks, these majestic, impressive royals of the sky ...
