Description

This long ago forgotten home is located in Glenview, North Carolina. All I know about it's history is that is was built in the mid 1800's, has not been occupied since the mid 1960's, and is currently on farmland owned by a Mr. Dickens. I seem to recall him telling me that at the turn of the last century it was owned by Arrington's, but I am not certain as to whether they actually owned this place, or just lived there. Thanks for looking, special thanks to those that comment/rank my work, it really helps me alot. Have a most splendid day!

Wow ! cool find and, of course, excellent photo Troy...I can remember when I was younger my g/f and I always loved to go exploring down dirt roads to see what we could find, and several times we came across awesome old deserted places just like this...brings back memories sigh

this is a scene out of nw Texas near the panhandle. farm house after house has become nothing but a relic of better times. the American farmer is quicky being chewed up and spit out by large companies. probably out of the country owners. I think the US should have stronger restrictions on ownership such as other countries. excellent capture Troy

Another wonder forgoten by all... and another so beautiful old house. How many old farms are like this one ? Too much for my opinion. Nobody try to do something for save them ? Could I buy this one ? A very nice shot again Troy, and another page of history. Hugs.

Seems to me a house that would suit movies with a haunted house. Great find! Fantastic work! :)
