Description

Well, besides from my Vue images, this is probably the only one that doesn't contain nudity. :) I dreamed about Nazareth last night. This image came to mind. Why do I never dream about naked women...? *sobs* Not happy about the cloths in the doorways. The superb realism in my dream was unfortunatly beyond my skill. *lol* Hope you like it! Take care, Sabra

I remember Nazareth a bit more crowded. ;o) This is an excellent image, and I have absolutely no complaints about the door clothes - they look wind-blown and I guess that's exactly their job.

like the figure, so mysterious (if u don't know him already, might take a look for for some inspiration at the works by "michael parkes" in some of his there are moods that reminds me of this work :)

I think this is spectacular. you may not be totally happy with it but you have so completely captured a mood and a moment. this is extremely realistic and like so many other of your images ,it is so simple in composition ,so simply stunning. your "less is more' approach has a drama that a cluttered scene could not produce.a big vote ! amazing work !!

I think you've made an excellent start with this. I really like the figure a lot. As for the door cloth, I much prefer the deep red of the farthest two - they have a 'traditional' look to them. The nearer two have a more modern feel. I think the bump mapping on the wall can be made smaller. And a different map for the ground would increase the realism. You might also consider some off-camera objects to cast some interesting shadows into the scene. Overall, this is a very good piece and really worth pursuing further. You have captured an excellent mood here!

Actually, I think you did a good job on the drapes. The bump on the wall could be toned down juat a little, and the shroud on the body needs a little something, just not sure what! (..hmm maybe a little transparent ?

Incredible as always sabra! Love the cloth here. Feels like the character has to choose a door and there are infinite choices. For some reason, I feel depressed when looking at this. Don't know why I feel like that, but I totally dig it !! ;)

Love the way the cloth appears to be blowing in the wind.

I like the colors of the right drape. The work on the clothing is great, but it confuses me a little about the woman underneath. The whole picture has a gloomy mood...

Great work Sabra! I know exactly what you mean about imagination exceeding technical capability. It is the bane of my artistic endeavor. Splendid work in this image none-the-less. The garb on the figure is excellent. Beautiful work my friend!

I think this piece has artisitic and surrealistic quality. It's the simplicity I like. And I disagree with "arrogant" who has no gallery of his own so I can't see which masterpieces he makes :-)
