She had screamed "I HAVE A CUTTY THINGY ON A STICK! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!" Lubna had about jumped out of his skin, as he whirled around to confront the female interloper. She grinned and said, "No shooty at 518! Bad!" The sythe moved with a speed that defied reason and the point of it pierced into the inards of the Pulse-blaster carbine, ripping it from his grip. There was a bright flash and bang as one of the power couplings in the carbine ruptured. Jaeko landed on his ass, after being punched in the face. 518 sood up straight and yelled at Jaeko, "Are you a professional idiot, or just a really talented amateur?" Jaeko stood up ready to keep fighting, and Lubna exclaimed in shock looking at his weapon stuck on Toxic's scythe, "You-you-you BROKE my GUN!" Toxic nodded and giggled. "Yep! Guns you can get more of. Your head's one of a kind!" She straightened up and said sternly, "JAEKO! No more fighting! You boys don't don't have any good sense! Don't make me come over and smack the crap out of ya! Or something like that! Why are you trying to hurt 518?" Jaeko growled out, "He's a SCAV! He killed Narchi and ate him! How do you know my name?" 518 froze in shock at the sheer unbelievablity of what he just heard. Jaeko was dead serious, as Toxic blinked serveral times and said, "He did a what?" Jako said, "Narchi hates Scavs. I saw this Scav come out of Narchi's APC! It's obvious what happened!" 518 shook his head and tried not to laugh, "Yeah! Your mother dropped you on your head too many times as an infant! You moron! Narchi saved my life, by operating on my leg after I caught a piece of shrapnel when the steam pipe ruptured! You are a professional idiot, alright! No amateur could have come up with that crap!" Toxic looked alarmed. "Where's Narchi at?" 518 pointed off in the distance, toward Firetown. "He saw a Trow Work-bee crash over there, and ran off to loot the place. I got the feeling he was no stranger to Firetown's tricks and traps." Toxic said impatiently, "I want my Coodle! Open it back up!" She pointed toward Narchi's APC. 518 said, "We'll have to go fetch Narchi, then. He has it set to open for him alone. The periphiry of Firetown is a death-trap for the unwary. The three tribes of wild Trow set traps in all of the buildings on the border of their territory. I'm trained to detect man-traps. I should go alone." Toxic said proudly, "They don't bother me. I like traps and puzzles and stuff. Been there plenty of times." Jaeko shook himself free of gazing longingly at Toxic, and said, "Milady! You shouldn't go off into the darkening woods with this Scav! He'll do...who knows what to you alone. I should go with you....to protect you." Toxic looked at Jaeko for a moment and looked over 518. 518 shrugged and hoped that the ill-mannered lout would fall in a death-trap if he came along. Toxic said to 518, "You look different! Taller? Is it the boots?" 518 smiled and started off, saying over his shoulder, "You definitly look different wearing clothes!" Jaeko blinked and gritted his teeth, muttering, "Oh son of a bitch! Missed that!" Lubna wailed at Toxic, "You broke my gun! I have to pay for that!" Toxic pried it off her scythe and handed it to Lubna. She ran to catch up to 518 calling back to Lubna. "Nice to meetcha! Bu-bye!" Lubna stood there alone in shock in the twilight looking at his weapon. "She broke my gun! Who was that rainbow crazy woman?" --To be continued!--
