Description
A handsome knight catches her eye
a handsome rogue with a spark
she smiles and extends her hand
but he falls apart.
A shadow knight who is no more
she tries to catch him to pull him
close but he turns to smoke.
He slips through her fingers and
she begins to cry but doesn't know why.
A shadow knight with an angelic voice
haunts her ears once more.
The voice soon fades so she opens her eyes
But he did not stand by her side
she strains her ears and then sighs
but she perks up when she hears a voice
over the tide. To her despair it was only
another knight.
She stands in front of all ring in her hand
as she pledges her love to a mortal man
Sealed with a kiss she turns to face them
and smile just for them. Takes a deep breath
and puts on her mask. Turns out not to be a
hard task .
A dutiful wife with a proud stance lifts her
head to her mortal man. Of course she sighs
he's no shadow knight not one with a spark in
his eye . Though she truly smiles one more time
she will never forget....
That handsome knight who caught her eye
that handsome rogue with a spark
who she smiled to and extended her hand
but sadly he fell apart.
