Description

It was good for me to be able to explore my homeland once again, I will show you some of this visit in a small series from Dartmoor down to St Just in Roseland,on the South Coast of Cornwall. Stretching from Tolverne-above the King Harry Ferry in the North with the thatched Smugglers Cottage, used by the US Army as an embarkation point for the D-Day landings. down the River Fal, and into Carrick Roads, up St Just Pool to see Roseland Church. Back down the Roads, around St Anthony Head, along the South Coast to Portscatho and so picturesque Portloe both with their sheltered harbours. This is the delightful harbour at St Mawes.. Thankyou for taking time to look and hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them..

I really wanna spend a couple hours sat on that seat bottom right, staring out, chilling, then a beer & some seaside fish & chips. Nice one mate & thanks for whisking me away from dreary Derby for a few minutes.....

Very beautiful. This has a very historical touch to it, something like an etching from the 19th century. Excellent clarity and mood.

Beautiful capture of this lovely part of your homeland! It looks all so friendly! Fantastic work, Danny, the composition is balanced well and the little humidity in the air adds depth to it! :)

Fun information and nice clear detailed photo. The background gray hill silhouette contrasts nicely with the cool-to-warm foreground greens.

Lovely this little port ! That remind me the ones in Brittany or Normandy. I love the sky, and it seems to be so peaceful. There's a very nice architecture too. Hugs Danny.
