Description

While the cloudcover accumulates the sunrays still reach the earth. The original slide contains more of the landscape to the right but my slide-scanner produces too much noise here so I decided to crop this capture and play a bit with the diagonal. Too bad the noise is still present but I did not like the idea of not showing you the atmosphere here on this particular capture. With this shot I conclude the Brienzer See series. Have a wonderful Sunday! :) Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 35 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Dreamy shot ! The reflection is more impressive than the real part of this landscape. I love this sort of shots, and this luminosity. There's really something magic in these colors. Where is the Fairy of the Lake Jan-Carel ????? Hugs. V

Hi. Great shot. Noise is ok sometimes. It gives you a sense that it was a dark and moody place!! Cheers from Louise.

Mesmerizing! The picture that dreams are made of. Depth, shading, color and mystery only lend a portion of your spirit and talent to the picture.

It has been a fine series I think the slide has stood up very well you may have less leeway with them for exposure but the colours outweigh any other considerations and the light is perfect

Jan-Carel, i am just curious...You still use your Minolta X-700 to take these shots...? And who or which Lab do you use to get them digitized this perfect? You do take a lot of very touching photos. My honest compliments !!!

Reminds me of times gone by drifting in a boat of a lake at sunrise and sunset. Long time since I've done that. Thanks for bringing back good memories.
