Hello all !
Another from my Castaic lake shots today. Yippee~!!~ we found a new picnicking spot ~.
You have to hike a while to get to this spot here, as the paved roads have all shut down 20 years or so ago. Most of the picnicking area (tables) are broken or damaged but we found this one almost untouched in a cozy spot at this pretty place with a view! It is so peaceful here. There is hardly anyone around for miles and miles except for a few boats and maybe a lone fisherman. When you live near a big city like Los Angeles you really appreciate not hearing cars / traffic and rather the wind blowing thru the trees and birds chirping.

happy birthday to Mike and this is gorgeous Kimarie. very isolated from the noise of LA and smog. if you really want some silence go to the 20 mule team canyon at Death Valley. you can hear a pin drop there
