Description
So I took two shots of my fav rings. Two from my mom and one from my girlfriend. I thought the back focus would make for an intriguing pic and leave the viewer wanting more. AS with the crop.

Very beautiful shot indeed Vera. Youre right about the viewer wanting more...i kinda want to see the front of the ring in focus. But the back focus is a good idea...maybe if you had rotated the rings 90 degrees it would have gotten an even greater effect. Now i have to rush to work. Have a wonderful day. #:O)

I know how difficult this is, I am practicing a lot lately with jewels and feathers......maybe it is a bit to close and a bit to dark....worth to try it in different positions....use a leaf underneath for the effect, check this out.....I am still struggle with it....http://www.freewebs.com/vlaaitje/feathersandjewel.htm

I toned the image down and made it dark for effect, and ... watch this space ;)

I like your idea, and maybe would have focused on the front of rings. Almost looks like double "V's" for Vera (Vamp).

Very special rings you have here. And again an interesting choice of sharpess, leaves some space for inspirational ideas.
