Description

Thank You so so so muhc for all of the views on Sun and Monday's uploads. Really Really appreciated! And more so to all of the ppl who commented. It really means so much that you tak time out to reflect and verbalise your thoughts. Tx to all for the conctructive crit - one learns thru others! Today is another image with the help of a little sunshine, a top I wear to gym, a brocken chain and it's cross. I'm not religious more spiritual but my girlfriend is so this is for her. Edit - levels, brightness.

beautiful idea with colours & texture, but I'd have chosen a slightly higher viewpoint such that the cross was more visible; your focus on part of the chain distracts a bit...

Tx will go and shoot more. Has with the ring shot I wanted this abstract quality to it, as not to have focus on anything specific therefore not defining the image...

Congratulations, the colour of the gold is excellent due to seccessful lighting! I'd have love to have the cross as main focus. It's interesting to note the role gold has (always) played in religion and spirituality all over the world despite man's academic knowledge to reduce it to a chemical symbol on a chart!

Most people take off their jewelry when they go to the gym....youre the first one i hear of that actually puts some on, lol. Makes me wonder what kind of gym you go to where you need chains....hehe. Neat set-up P. Have a glorious day. #:O)

I like this point of view and the focus! It looks very cinematographic, like you are slowly waking up, you turn your head, still lying down, and almost accidentally see the abandoned chain lying there, without really focusing on the whole image or on any particular part. No, I like it, it's good (She said you like it now, but you'll learn to love it later -Robbie Robertson, Somewhere Down the Crazy River ;-) Enjoy your day Vera! --Geert

Is this a lucky charm? Interesting choise of sharpness on this picture.

I like that you're experimenting with different subject matter. However, I find that this image has no real "focal point" to draws my eyes in. IMO, the cross would be the aspect of the chain to emphasize or focus on. Try "posing" the chain in a variety of ways to add interest to the composition, while also spotlighting the cross! A darker background would bring out the gold tones more as well! Keep at it...that's how we all learn!

Lovely capture of this jewelry, I see the valuable critics are given yet so I just enjoy what I see! :)

Coool work, although a higher POV and less light or a warming filter to lift the gold a little would work as well......great effort and super compo.....mwah
