Description
The days are getting a bit warmer here in Southern Ontario... albeit with a massive amount of rainfall. But it sure feels like spring... and the Killdeer(s) are calling well past midnight... which may be the reason the coyotes are yodelling at a feverish pitch. There were two red-winged blackbirds at the suet cake today, and the sparrows have been dragging bits of grass and twigs into the birdhouses ... I'm thinking all of these critters can't possibly be wrong. So... in celebration of an early spring... I'm digging out my sandals to wear with my hockey socks... ;)

And some say that April is the cruelest month. Warmer, rainier, but at least the 20 degree days with the 20 mph winds are gone now, at least for a while. Terrific lighting, colors, and details, but that's what we've come to expect, you never disappoint or cease to amaze. I was watching this show about Steve Winwood this weekend, when I was too sick and tired to get up for a couple of days. I guess that I never knew (or probably forgot) that he was in both the Spencer Davis Group and Traffic before the all too brief life of Blind Faith. He's really smart, he took all the money he made as a young man and bought a whole bunch of land, an old country estate, so that he could make as much noise as he wanted to without bothering anybody. Still lives there now with no neighbors in sight, what a lucky guy! Sorry to ramble but for some reason Southern Ontario got me thinking about CSN&Y etc, etc.

Beautiful work on the colours, the soft texture and the golden lining. Shouldn't (rain)clouds have a silver lining? j/k Over here winter has decided to give us just one more week of frost. So definitely no sandals for me yet!

There is something here that really catches the eye. While the teal and the purple are in muted tones it's the gold that lends them vibrancy and opulence. Very impressive my friend. And as exsquisite design just brings it all together.

Blue satin ribbons woven together, and held in place with rings of gold...stunning LM. Now, about those sandals and hockey socks......;)
