Description

I'm not sure if this reminds me more of Woody Woodpecker or Daphne Duck... ;)

While in between loads of laundry today, I started dabbling with Toby Marshall's "Spicy Brew 10" (tma3.ufm) and at some point the duck popped up... so I thought I'd share him with you guys. Silly, I know... but it was fun.

Spiral and background in UF... with border, sig and lighting (Greg's Pool Shadow Filter) in PSP. Thank you for coming in to have a closer look... and for all the encouraging words you all have left under my previous stuff. You guys are the best!! Hugs! Helen :)

I see those wooden shoes from Denmark and some little boy holding his finger in a dike protecting the populous from cascading water. other than that very beautiful fractal

Woody seems to be saying "I'm proud of these eggs; what do you expect from a woodpecker?" :) Super effects.

I think Woodpecker is a more exciting charactor.. but not so sure where these awesome lovely and detailed markings come from it seems to make him suddenly "CUTE".. lol...

Duck! But I'm not sure which one. Lovely soft colouring and texturing.

I like the way the spiral stands out against the background, that is great, by the way. Lovely pearly effect and colours. Great work.

Your depiction of the Duck is fascinating. Choice of colours are well suited and engaging. The echoes fit the repetions so skillfuly and enhance a beauty piece of work, Helen. Thanks!

Beautiful, as always, Helen! I particularly like the chevrons on the background; the way they change from light at the top to too-dar-to-see at the lower right. Excellent composition!

Absolutely Woody Woodpecker! I heard him this AM while walking my dog. He had mistaken a metal downspout for a tree, and was making quite a racket at 6 AM! :)

Some kind of very bizarre duck. Not Woody or Daphne or Daffy but another duck, one that keeps appearing and disappearing like the Chesire cat in Wonderland. Fascinating work, the duck and the background seem to keep switching places!
