Nice depth and brilliant work on the reflection. Check out Sam Clemens on the telephone and burglar alarm (short pieces). As porcelain, with movable eyes, the bottom half succeeds as high cute schmalz in Dresden. As plastic? Spose one could argue hand-eye coordination, but on the downside mass-marketed subliminal training in Kool-Aid color (apes and humanoids as fruit eaters susceptible, and as mammals targeting nipple red--one will not mention Baboons, hehe) and empty mimicking of empty adult postures on the phone....The Mostaccio Petes among the Communist Chinese leadership still raise their voice, I am told, when speaking long distance, hoho.

I shut off my dsl service and cell service with my phone provider and was looking at the bill to see what I actully owe and to my dismay, I discovered the taxes are higher than the phone bill. $11.23 phone 11.90 taxes. what a bummer. I think Tedz would love this phone of yours. cool capture

Hey! That looks like the equipment I was issued by my phone service provider. Their equipment works about as well too! I could've bought one of those and saved a whole lot of money, for about the same capability and reliability. I bet this Fisher-Price phone gets alot less customer complaints though. Thanks for the idea Kort. I'm rushing right out to get mine today! LOL. All kidding aside, I really like your idea, compo, and capture. I "love" all of the information you've provided along with your pic. Thanks for all your hard work on this post. Have an awesome day buddy!

Oooh Andreas is right. There you are in his eyes,lol...LOL I had one of these 'phones' and so did my girls...Although I don't think they were nearly as impressed with it as I was...too many fancier toys for them these days.I love the look of those old toys tho...there's something so innocent and nostalgic about them.An adorable shot Kortalouche, and fascinating info,too!!!-M :^)

Ha ha, I guess 611 will be not that much in use... :) Just a few seconds on the timeline and Voice Over IP will take over the old telephony! Not to mention good old morse, telegrams, etc.! :)

Interesting that our perception about plastic is one of it being "cheap" but the moment there is a special emotion attached like in this case, only the emotional value is portrayed.

great strong colours, and it brings a smile to my face. Was that the toy where the eyes went up and down depending if the receiver was up or down?

Hmmm not a phone person either ... now the internet that's another story! Fun and colour capture Kort and interesting facts. I note you don't have a 111 which happens to be NZs emergency services number :)

Lovely colours and for that price it is a steal. The problem iS that I am not a phone person either. But, then, do we always only buy the things we use? :)). Excellent caption.

Look out Verizon! No wonder adults keep trying new "Toys", always competing with some memory from childhood. LOL. Great Idea.

I probably am one of the only people in my circle of friends that don't own a cell...they just can't believe I could ever live without one..Phone booths are still everywhere so till that option dies, I don't need something else to loose. But..I do love my toys, and buy them regularly...something missing in my childhood I guess...Gotta get one these bad boys...Fun shot here Kort! Aloha!
