Description

The third picture from a recent ski trip in the mountains above Eresfjord, a small farming community on the west-coast of Norway. This one is pretty similar to the two first pictures of this series, but I chose to include it beacause I like the shadows/light in it. The mountain on the left in this picture is called Svarttind (Black Mountain) - and it was also visible on the right of my previous picture. I'm now high enough that one of the real mountains of the region is coming into view above the ridge on the other side of the fjord. This one is called Klauva - a great mountain for rock climbing (in summer at least:). The fjord - Eresfjorden - is also visible as a black surface below me. It continues right out of the picture whereafter it makes a ninety degree turn before it joins the Atlantic some 70 kilometers further west. The rest of this series will be pictures that are shot from a higher vantage point, thus providing a much better overview of the area. So - better things are still to come. Until next time - take care! :)
