Description

This was sooooooo cool! While hiking up a canyon, my friend wanted to stop and sit down for a minute on some rocks. I just happened to look up at the rock walls above us and my jaw dropped....... there above us, high on the hill were these petroglyphs!!!! They were clearly pointing the way for the next tribe to follow up the adjoining ridge route!!!!! I think this was the best part of the whole trip! We were looking for the old mines, but we weren't expecting to see petroglyphs!!!!!! Bonus!!!! And these sat so high on the wall that I had to climb up to get this picture. Had my friend not decided to stop....... we would have never seen them!!!! Happy St Patrick's Day!!!!! Almost looks like a leprachaun huh????? Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my Death Valley posts!!!! I really appreciate them! Hugs!!!
