Description

Hello all! Well I said no more geese for a while but there are some ducks here lol. Chrissy my 8 year daughter and Candi my cocker spaniel have a big love for the ducks! Except Chrissy loves to feed them and Candi has a love for wanting to feed on them LOL! We brought a half of loaf to feed the little quackers .But right before I shot these we had to stop and put the bread bag back in the explorer. WE got scolded by an old lady who was environmentalist. She told us that the bread spoiles their appetite and then the mallards later do not eat what they should. She said it

Makes me think of my little daughter; she's 8 years too, she's crazy about ducks, and I haven't seen her in 8 months (sigh & sniff). You just got to cherish what's been given to you, every minute that it's there, you know what I mean... Beautiful shot again, Kimmers!!! They are both lovely ;-)

Ahem ... I'm sorry to bring this up but I couldn't help but notice ... Candi appears to be edging toward plumper status. Or is her fur just a bit extraordinarily fluffed out? Anyway, very nice shot -- excellent composition, lighting, and saturation.

I think that could be true a little bit, but I have seen the opposite. when there were plenty of tadpoles in a local creek the ducks would not look at bread. they look for food no matter where it comes from if they are hungry. very sweet shot Kimarie

Very peacefully the child and the dog are in front of the water. But maybe the picture would still have been better if you had waited until the near sunset.

I really like how the sun shines on Crissy and Candi. It kind of symbolizes how children and animals are especially blessed. Beautiful photo Kimarie. And I love the photo-story. Fantastic! Would make a great story collage.
