Description
Main Engineering of the Improved Constitution class USS Phoenix, located near the top of the secondary hull. Starfleet shipwrights installed a warp core from the existing reactor chamber to a location just past the impulse deck at the back of the primary hull. The other core was run along the top of the secondary hull to the Jeffries tubes , which carried the plasma energy up to the warp coils in the engine nacelles.
