Very lovely shot Kort, and another good idea. I'm shure this serie will be very interesting. Another part of history, and a lot of very interesting informations about watches. Have a nice evening. Hugs. V

Very sharp and beautiful shot (strange to think of an image of a watch as being beautiful, but the photo is very well done).

Now this is the perfect capture of time, good detail and lighting, cool shot:):)..V

Well, you got your BIG TIME (what Eliade calls Illud Tempus or Sacred Time) and you got your LITTLE TIME (Hoc Tempus or Profane), and maybe also your SMALL TIME (as in "hood"?). Then you also got HISTORICAL TIME, which many currently consider sacred (especially on television news and among politicos, as in "History is being made here today"). In fact there are many types of time, without even a reference to Einstein (relative to motion) or Newton (absolute)or Augustine (mysterious), Ibn Khaldun (itinerative), and so on and so forth. ( Now, thanks to your elegant treatment of an inexpensive but also in its own way elegant time piece, DOUBLE TIME, which if course is to be severely distinguished from TWO TIME (as in "two timing sumbitch?). Geez, are you one of select who actually looked at and got "Synchronized Swimming in John Cameron Swaziland", hoho. Reading list optional for those who were there, more or less, hehe. Lovely imaging then and now--yours and what was photographed....

Excellent work! I like this very much. Time may only be a human perception...everything that has ever happened remains frozen in time as does everything that hasn't happened yet....but then again maybe no :) Who knows...

"Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save." Will Rogers, New York Times, Apr. 29, 1930 US humorist & showman (1879 - 1935)***excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!

My first watch in high school was a timex...great watch, you could beat the crap out of it and it would still work. Now days I find that I am a prisoner of time, so 3 yrs. ago I threw all my watches away. I find I am a happier person not being a slave to time...Amazing macro here Kort! Aloha!

Hickory Dickory dock, The mouse ran up the clock. Not sure what happened after that. Great shot in time. Aloha

love the light and the idea!

I guess you can say that I'm a prisoner of time. The only place I don't have a clock is in my bathroom. I hate being late for anything. Maybe I should take an example from Doug and one day just throw them all away. I found an old timex one time in 30ft of water. I was diving at an old fishing hole and there it was... good as new! {{VOTE}}

A very special one. Clearly expresses the meaning of the phrase "just a second".
