Description

Jones Beach,Long Island,New York Strange how my heart beats To find myself upon your shore. Strange how I still feel My loss of comfort gone before. Cool waves wash over and drift away with dreams of youth So time is stolen I cannot hold you long enough. Strange how I falter to find I'm standing in deep water Strange how my heart beats to find I'm standing on your shore... excerpted from "On Your Shore" Music: Enya Lyrics: Roma Ryan Just another shot from my day at the beach. This one,for some reason, made me think of this song. TY4V&C Hope y'all have a wonderful night/evening wherever you are... Always, Marlene PS I 'gave' this pic to Egmont in the forum,in a thread sending out wishes for his speedy recovery.I hope in some way I was able to show him how much I have appreciated his thoughtful comments and wonderful art...Hope you are doing better Egmont. :^)

Never seen such golden water before, it's breathtaking! The silhoette speaks to me about freedom, a wonderful shot, and Enyas text add to it.

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S!! For the lovely shot and colours.. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep Sea, and music in its roarI love not Man the less, but Nature more. Thanks for the post dear.. Keep the series comming.. (^_^)

My dear friend Marlene, I am truly deeply touched by this image when I first saw it in the forum, along with your touching words of well wishes. I find this image, especial with the woman raising her hands as if to pay homage to the great spirit of the sea. Very fitting since I am born under the sign of the sea creature the crab. We also share a special liking for the Irish singer Enya, whos latest CD Amaranine is something I have been listening to these last few weeks. Thank you so very much for entering into my word and bring sunshine and kindness. Egmont
