Description

Great Evening Everybody!!!! Been a very lazy and sleepy day here. Cold and rainy, so we didn't do much! The kids went back to school and the quiet was awesome!!!!!!!! Can't wait for tomarrow for more! lol This here shot is Ozzy. His main breed is an African Cichlid. The breed inside that is the Oscar. He IS a huge fish! And believe it or not, but he is not full grown. About the half-way mark. We got him 2 years ago when he was the size of a silver dollar! Now he lives in a 55 gallon aquarium in my livingroom! Oh, and he really loves to eat fingers for supper! Hahahahaha! Hope ya'lls week has started off well! I don't mind being lazy every now and then, but I sure do wish it would get warm for everyone!!!!! Have a good one! Big hugs and thanx to all who comment/view! Much obliged! Velvet.

Ya know.... I've seen these buggers gobble through a bunch of feeder fish like they were M&M's. Is this an Albino version of this breed? My Mom used to have all kinds of fish tanks. Guess who used to clean them all for her. He really is a pretty one! Thanks for sharing with us.

Excellent shot ! I used to have a cichlid tank long time ago...and don't know if you want to hear this or not, but in S. Fla where I used to live we would catch wild Oscars all the time...man, what a ride they give ya ! you'd think you had a whale on the line :o)...anyway, Ozzy's a very pretty fishy :o) hugs

you have a beautiful fish ! nice capture of him hard to do behind glass!! we have a gold fish that is getting huge after years... i need to buy a bigger tank than my 5 gallon soon!!

Ozzy rules! What an awesome fish! I love that camou thing he's got going on, with his underbelly matching the rocks at the bottom of his tank. That is so cool! Great capture Velvet!
