Yes, and the past always looks so inviting but then we tend to look at only the good parts, would you really want to go back to the past, well maybe with all the knowledge you have now..hehehehehe...great detail and composition:):):)..V

I would have liked to see someone stealing the lamp or approaching you with a knife in hand behind you while you were so intently focusing on your picture. It would make for a nice scene in a movie. Just my dark thoughts. Very nice!! KP

Sure the moral lesson is easy to understand... Excellent!

Now we talking, my man! Great animation (and thumb too!). Rushdie is mainly a sensationalist, about the level of Mailer--a very sophisticated "could have been". This quotation betrays a clear lack of understanding of mythos (expected among the Muslims and Chinese), and complete ignorance of Eliade's Cosmos and History. The fellows who put the price on his head helped him to a notoriety he did not deserve--like the Christians who tried to ban "Baby Doll". What the Greek Orthodox did to Kazantzakis (because of his books, long before the film), or the supposedly liberal Synagogical Jews of Holland to Spinoza, were much more serious and revealing incidents....

I like the warm lighting even though it does cause a glare on the glass of the watch that is a tad distracting.

A very good idea this animation, very original and always perfect for the words you've choose. I agree with the text, and all is a question of perspective... Have a nice day. V

Sigh.I missed another one,as well...Thought I was done when I buried my head in the dirt last time round, lol. There is a moral message there. It's very hard to maintain perspective from all angles.Inevitably, one overpowers the other. Our eyes weren't designed that way,and our hearts have an equally difficult time with it.Brilliant work my friend.Love the gif and the thoughts that went behind it.Glad I took the 'time' to trace back thru my old ebots tonight.-M :^)
