Description

Helloooo Everybody!!! Hope everyone's week has gone by fairly well! Tomarrow is Friday! Although since work has been so slow this week, it's almost been like a little mini vacation-minus all the other b.s. I'm putting up with anyways! lol Today's capture is my lovely Angelfish. I believe they are in the Tetra family. She'll get about the size of my hand, spread wide open. Just a bay right now! I noticed in the other part of the pic., that I got one of the glass fish in there too! These fish are in my 10 gallon, community tank. *OK-the guy at the pet store told us when we bought the glass fish, that they are tattooed with their color. Now, first off, how in the world are ya gonna tattoo a fish? You can't bring him out of the water to do it, they'll die. And tell me someone is really gonna sit there with an electric tattoo gun, hold it under water, and tattoo the colors on these fish?* If anyone knows really truly how they get this way-PLEASE tell me! Okay, enough rambling! I'm outta here! Hope everyone has a great day! Thank you everyone for views/comments! Much appreciated! Big hugs to all, Velvet.

The glass fish is colored with corant food aditives, most of them cause cancer in fish, and because of that they have a short time of living. Dont buy that kind of fish if you can, they arent that much fun and are produced only to be an ornament, nothing else. The angel fish its a cichlid, not a tetra. Hope that helps. Have a nice weekend.

Such a lovely little angel. My Mom used to have these long frilly tailed ones. They were huge too. We drove all the way out of state to get them too.

Try putting black cloth or fiberboard behind the tank - I suggest this having never done it! lOL, anyway looks like a good health tank.
