Description

Aloha! A shot from this mornings shoot. I wanted to see if I could get the washed out sky to have a some contrast. I spot metered the rocks and shot this..not the best I've ever taken, but then something about it saved it from the rubbish bin. Your opionions are appreciated! Happy Friday everyone, here's to a great weekend...Aloha to All~

This is a fantastic shot!!! The sky doesn't even have to be included, just the water, the rocks and especially the reflecting sunlight on the waves make this a masterpiece!!!

Hey, this is very blue. Where is this place? Looks like good fishing grounds. Very neat blend of blues.

This image reminds me of the days out at sea fishing with the reflection of light in back of the wave. Beautiful. Aloha

Beautiful composition buddy. Nobody catches watermotion like you do, and the colors in this one sure are gorgeous. I love the hint of the sun up top. Hmm! This is exactly how I've been feeling today. The anniversary of my best friend's death is coming soon. It will be 15 years since she died in a car accident.... and I still miss & love her. It's such a beautiful photo my dear. You've captured the mood perfectly.

The sky doesn't look washed out at all,so you definately did something right!Love the pov with the rock in the foreground, the water's motion, leading the eye towards the horizon and then up,with that hint of bright sun...Lovely work,Dave.Hope you continue to have many sun-filled days.-M :^)

Fortunately saved from the virtual huntingfields! Love to see this, in bright contrasts and thus not easy to shoot (can't have everything with only 24 bits per color) but you achieved a formidable result! Excellent work, Dave! :)

I like it, Dave. Even though there's no detail in the rocks, it's exactly what a view into the sun looks like. Very pretty shot.
