Description

This is a door I made for another image that didn't turn out too well. I decided I liked the door well enough to continue playing with it and dumped the Poser people. The doors are a terrain with my favorite wood mat from Gnorg-Colflek called Old Wood. The hinges, cross, suns, brickwork, steps, trim are all made by me from terrains. The light rays are cones with a Bryce mat applied. I used Pidjy's stone mat, HSI steel mats on the hinges, xceiverx walkway mat, Drew Costigan's ivy (ain't that cool?), Baumgarten's monk, door handles and knockers are Gerald Days or Zippys (sorry) and Erasor's brick wall mat. I did a tiny bit of postwork to fix ground cover and then applied a very, very light effect of Xero's radiance. Thanks for looking

This is lovely Nancy. I especially love the righthand side - the shadows are superb and bring out the weathered brick and woodwork. Great pov too!! Well done!

That door is very well done and the textures you used are excellent. The rest of the scene is brilliantly constructed and all the textures are right. I wonder what's behind that door. I suppose that asking for a barely clad beautiful woman would be asking too much. 8-)

This is a wonderful architectural image. The details and the textures are really impressive. The lighting. The shadows on the door and the walls. All fantastic! I also love the grass and the moss on the walkway. Real great attention to detail (and I love details). Good job with the light rays (I never had much luck with this effect). Gets my VOTE!
