Description
For anyone who remembers and loves the old morecambe and Wise sketches - here's a still shot from an animation work in progress I'm doing, based on the above titled sketch.
Credit where it's due: Scarebear, Rottentail and Secret Danger Cat from Netherworks (all freebie versions at the moment, but they're on my wishlist!): mike from Planit3D.com. All material work, beyond the base textures for the critters, done by me from scratch.
Please enjoy, comment, and have fun!

Thanks guys... took me quite a while to decide what characters I was going to 'cast' in the roles. I looked at a few other characters, and even contemplated modelling my own (which would have been another first for me!), but in the end, decided to go for Netherwork's excellent creatures. Current stage of development for the animation is slowly going through te sound file, breaking it down into the various pieces of dialogue so that I can lipsync it using DAZ Mimic - and any bits which are mixed in with music, or where more than one person is talking... well, I guess i'll have to redub those bits for the lipsyncin,g and then re-introduce the original soundtrack back in at the end! :) jonthecelt

I imagine the completed animation will be very good with the amount of work going into it. This single image is pleasantly composed too.

I've never heard of Morcambe and Wise, until reading your caption. This is an interesting scene, and certainly different from the usual, run-of-the-mill Poser stuff with Posing macho males and NVIATWAS's. While this genre isn't my cup of tea, I do wish yu success with it. For a cartoon animation, I'd say that you've caught the mood quite well. I'd like to see the animation when you've finished. Yours truly, David P. Hoadley
