Description

My Mum will be 80 years old this June. A flower from my garden for her. For Geert's Mother too, she would have been 80 yesterday. Thanks again to Bountifulknight for his help. Have a wonderful day everyone. Thank you for looking. Diane.

I recall a story about the providence symbolized in the flower's structure: 5 loaves & 3 fishes - actually 2 mentioned in the Bible. What a beautiful dedi to the 2 mothers!

busi2ness, you are quite right. The flower is passiflora, said to symbolize the passion of Christ. The blue the colour of Mary's cloak - the petals his disciples. I had not heard of the 5 loaves and two fishes, Thank you. Di.

WOW!! You're both so lucky! My Mom passed away two years ago. She was only fifty-four. Give them both lots of love and listen to everything they have to say, for one day... you'll miss those moments.
