Good Morning Everyone!
As you see, my baby boy Rider is home! According to the vet, his leg looked like it was already broken and had been for awhile. When we first got him, he favored his left leg with a limp, but it quickly went away. But, that was the same break that just rebroke itself! Guess we were wrong!
But, he's going to be fine! Two screws and pins inside his leg holding then together, plus the cast covers his entire leg. He's slowly learning how to 'hobble' & get around some. And he finally ate this morning after having all those meds. in him. Every week we go back for 2 months, then we'll go from there.
God took care of him, the vet bills are paid! Credit cards unfortunately, but it's paid! Total of about $700., we got lucky. But, Thank you all for your comments/views/and caring hearts! Have a great day! And may God Bless! Hugs, Velvet.

So glad that the vet found the problem and has set his leg so that it can finally mend. He may have some pain in the future with the leg, but at least it will be much betterdo hve a nice day and take good care. HUGS!!!!!!!

Great to see Rider is back, although it won't be easy to geth used to walking in this way! But home is home, and home sweet home! :)

Ohhhh such a sweetheart ! I'm sure he'll be up and running around in no time...animals take pain and injuries so differently than us 2 legged critters do :o) they're much more stoic and stronger in many ways...I've been thru so much over the years with my furry companions I really feel for ya ! thanks for posting the pic and please keep us up to date ! hugs

vets are extremely expensive as you know first hand. he will be around to his normal soon

Awww, poor guy! It's not easy to impress the girlie-dogs with one shaved leg, a cast going all the way up to the hip, and a hobbling gimp. Poor Rider! Spring is here, and he can even go out and strut his stuff and look cool doing it. I hope he's a real fast healer! All my best to Rider and his wonderful family. Have an awesome day all!

Awww!!! Poor, poor baby!! That's got to hurt! Thank God he's got some loving parents! It's amazing what we'll do for our pets. But for most of us... they're more than just pets. They're are friends and family. We love them just as deeply and mourn them when they're gone. Bless you all! (I've had to max out my card before with my cat.) Have a great weekend you two!
